Mobile car detailing & ceramic coating

If your address is 25 km or more from the Sydney CBD, a kilometre surcharge may apply.

If it does, we'll tell you the amount when we quote, before your booking is confirmed.

We're a mobile service, so the work is carried out at your home or workplace. To complete your detail we need:

• Access to a working water tap near the vehicle
• Access to a standard power point near the vehicle
• Enough clear space around the vehicle to open all doors fully and work safely

If your vehicle is kept in an apartment, shared or underground car park, please check that vehicle washing is permitted and that water and power are available before you book.

If water or power isn't available on the day, we may not be able to carry out the service and your booking may need to be rescheduled. If access is limited at your address, let us know when you book and we'll discuss your options.

Ceramic coating is applied and cured under controlled conditions. The vehicle must be indoors and out of direct sunlight while the coating is applied, and must stay indoors and dry while it cures.

For every ceramic coating booking we require access to an enclosed garage that:

• Fits the vehicle with enough room to walk around it and open the doors
• Is protected from sunlight, rain, wind and dust
• Has lighting and access to power
• Can keep the vehicle undisturbed and dry while the coating cures

We'll confirm the curing time for your vehicle and take you through aftercare, including when it can first be washed, once the coating has been applied.

If you don't have access to a suitable garage, please contact us before booking so we can discuss whether we're able to coat your vehicle.

Quotes are based on the size of the vehicle and the condition described to us at the time of enquiry. We inspect every vehicle on arrival and confirm the price before starting.

If the vehicle is dirtier than described, it takes more time and product to bring it up to standard. This includes heavy staining, pet hair, sand, mud, excessive dirt, strong odours and other significant contamination. Where this is the case, the quoted price may be revised or a more suitable package recommended.

Any change to the price will be discussed with you before any work begins. No additional work is carried out without your approval.

Sending a few clear photos of the interior and exterior when you enquire helps us quote accurately the first time.

Before any work begins we carry out a walk-around inspection of your vehicle and may take photos or video to record its condition. Where we notice existing damage we'll point it out to you before we start. This can include scratches, stone chips, dents, cracked or loose trim, faded or peeling clear coat, worn or cracked leather, and stains or marks that are unlikely to be removed.

GLOSSWORX Auto Care is not responsible for damage that was present before the service, or for existing defects that become more noticeable once the vehicle is clean.

Some existing conditions can deteriorate during normal cleaning, such as peeling clear coat, poorly repaired or resprayed panels, loose badges and trims, and worn interior surfaces. Where we identify a risk, we'll discuss it with you before we start.

Please remove all valuables and personal belongings from the vehicle before your appointment, including from the glovebox, centre console, door pockets, seat pockets and boot. This includes cash, cards, electronics, sunglasses, jewellery and important documents.

A clear vehicle lets us clean every area properly and avoids delays on the day. Items left in the vehicle may need to be moved to complete the detail, and anything we come across will be set aside for you.

While we take care with every vehicle, GLOSSWORX Auto Care does not accept responsibility for valuables or personal items left in the vehicle, except where loss or damage is caused by our failure to take reasonable care.
